Sizing Guide

Sizing Guide

Leora pieces are designed with a relaxed, considered fit. Most styles are intentionally easy or oversized — if you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down, though fit notes on individual product pages will tell you if a specific piece runs large or small.

Size chart — body measurements

All measurements below are body measurements, not garment measurements. Measure yourself at the fullest part of your bust, the narrowest part of your waist, and the fullest part of your hips.

Size UK EU FR Bust (cm) Waist (cm) Hips (cm)
XS 6–8 34–36 34–36 80–84 60–64 86–90
S 8–10 36–38 38–40 84–88 64–68 90–94
M 10–12 38–40 40–42 88–92 68–72 94–98
L 12–14 40–42 42–44 92–98 72–78 98–104
XL 14–16 42–44 44–46 98–104 78–84 104–110
XXL 18–20 46–48 48–50 104–110 84–90 110–116

How to measure

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist: Measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, usually about 2cm above your navel.
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, usually about 20cm below your waist.

Linen fit note

Washed linen has a small amount of natural movement. The fabric relaxes slightly after washing and wearing — pieces soften and ease with time. This is a feature of the material, not a fault. A linen trouser that feels exactly right on the first wear will feel even better on the fifth.

Most Leora tops and shirts are cut with ease. If you prefer a closer fit, size down one. Trousers and co-ord bottoms are generally true to size.

Swimwear sizing

Swimwear is sized to fit close to the body. Use your body measurements above and, if in doubt, size up rather than down for swimwear — you can always tie the adjustable straps tighter, but a swimwear piece that is too small will not be comfortable to wear.
